It's been a week since Orisa's introduction to Overwatch. She's been available in all modes, except for competitive, to allow players to become used to her kit before taking her into a serious environment. In the past week Orisa's role as an anchor tank has been experimented with, so we can make some assumption about how she will fare in competitive play.

rAge Cape Town Cancelled
A truly sad day for Cape Tonian gamers and tech geeks as their version of Africa's biggest gaming expo, rAge, scheduled to take place from 27-29 April, has been cancelled
Michael James, who owns and coordinates the expo released a press statement in order to elaborate on the cancellation of the event. In the statement James mentions that the enthusiasm for such events is at the right level, however the "financial and logistic" aspects of hosting this event are what ultimately led to the cancelation.
Recognition, in any medium, is not something every one can achieve. In terms of video games, it is true that large companies capable of creating large budget AAA titles hold a monopoly over the attention of the average consumer. Indie developers often have to claw their way onto the radars of large audiences by doing something truly groundbreaking or genre redefining. While not impossible, mass-market success is usually limited to games making use of mainstream marketing channels, however, seismic shifts are occurring in the ways games are marketed and distributed. These shifts allow developers worldwide to gain the traction needed in an ever evolving market making indie development more exciting than ever.
